How to Integrate MLS into Your Website

Integrate your website with an XML or RETS property data feed!  - Wm Jimenez

If you are a real estate agent or broker, an MLS solution is mandatory on your website.  There are various ways to show an integrated MLS onto your website.  First, your MLS board might have a free IDX solution which is a great way to start off.  Some brokers and agents out there have actually used the sign up form from their IDX solution for Pay-Per-Click campaigns.  It seems to be working because I’ve noticed the same agents using it over and over.   The other method of showing properties on your site is via an XML feed or RETS data feed.  The Masterdigm CRM programming team has experience in both types of real estate property listing applications.

Now, the advantage of an XML or RETS data feed is that each property can have its own unique webpage or URL.  For example:  www.mywebsite.com/properties/123-anystreet-los-angeles-ca. This is the best approach, because users are able to search for properties by address.

If you are interested in adding properties or a property search capability to your website, there are a few very important in-bound link strategies that you must consider.

Please contact us using the form below to discuss how to best integrate a MLS-type solution on your website.  We also have pre-designed property layouts available that incorporate the on-page SEO factors that will make you a more successful real estate agent or broker.
